Open the closure before pulling
Undo the wrist strap fully if the glove has one. Check for a removable strap or any other opening specified for the actual model. Do not try to force the hand through a closed fastening. For a strapless glove, identify the intended entry area and any reinforced pull feature described in its instructions.
The important distinction is where the force is applied. Soft palm latex, fingertips and decorative pieces should not become pulling handles. The way a glove looks does not show which panel was designed to take entry or removal stress.
Work the cuff over the hand gradually
Use the cuff or designated removal feature to ease the glove off in small movements, keeping the hand relaxed. Avoid jerking it off by one finger. If it catches at the knuckles, pause, check the opening and loosen the fastening instead of increasing force.
A very tight opening or damp hand can make removal harder. Follow the method supplied for that model. If the intended wearer repeatedly needs excessive force, include entry and removal in the fit review rather than treating this as a problem to solve by pulling harder.
Review strapped and strapless entry separately
A strap adjusts the closure; it does not define the finger fit. A strapless cuff relies on its pattern and stretch. Test both putting on and taking off as part of the sample trial, especially for junior wearers who may need help managing the opening.
| Construction | Removal check |
|---|---|
| Fixed strap | Fastening fully open before easing off the cuff |
| Removable strap | Attachment and removal instructions understood |
| Strapless | Opening, stretch and intended pull area reviewed |
| Junior glove | Wearer can manage the approved method |
Finish with the care routine
After removal, check the glove and follow its cleaning and air-drying instructions. Take damp pairs out of the bag after transport. If a seam or panel has been damaged during removal, photograph it and discuss the actual pair and size with the supplier.
For a private label order, approve a short illustrated entry-and-removal instruction alongside the glove. Use the physical construction in that instruction, including any intended pull tab, rather than borrowing a diagram from a different pattern.
