A hybrid name is not a pattern
Write down the construction for the index, middle, ring and little fingers, then describe the thumb and any palm extensions. A visual map is more useful than a model name when discussing a hybrid glove with production.
Change one feature at a time
If you are comparing patterns, keep the palm and cuff similar where practical. Testers can otherwise attribute a softer fabric or easier entry to the hybrid cut. A clear comparison helps identify which change actually improves the intended fit.
Keep the product explanation simple
Your customer should understand why this model exists. Explain the fit and construction in straightforward language, supported by photos of the actual sample. Avoid adopting another brand’s proprietary cut names for a different pattern.
