Define the system in the brief
Describe which fingers are included, the type of support element and how the pockets or joins are constructed. If removable, review access and replacement instructions. Avoid assuming that two products labelled finger protection use the same system.
Check freedom of movement
Review catching positions, fist movement and comfort across the intended sizes. Finger support changes the feel of the glove and may not suit every keeper. Include representative players and record specific observations.
Use responsible product language
Describe the physical construction and how to care for it. Do not promise injury prevention or encourage a player to continue through pain. Any protective-performance claim needs appropriate evidence for the actual product.
