Define the sock and wearer
State the adult or junior audience, size system, cuff height and wearing arrangement. Ask whether customers use the sock alone or with a team sock sleeve. Include finished measurements and review the sample in the footwear players normally use. A printed size range cannot replace a fit trial.
Map the knit and sole details
Record fabric composition, knit zones, cushioning, toe seam and grip placement. Use a sole drawing to identify where the grip pattern starts and ends. Review movement during a session and changes after the agreed washing routine. Describe construction without promising injury prevention or a universal anti-slip result.
- Size system and measurements for each size group.
- Fabric, knit, cushioning and seam details.
- Grip pattern, application and coverage.
- Cuff branding, care label and packing.
Plan the size assortment
Keep quantities by size and colour visible. Coordinate artwork with the glove and clothing range, then approve physical samples together. List socks as a separate enquiry line with their own minimums and schedule. For bundles, define how each sock size matches the glove or kit size rather than assuming a fixed mapping.
